October 19, 2007 - Field Research

First day of the new season, the students formed in three teams and went to the Arboretum to familiarize themselves with the techniques and equipment in a hands on trial run, while also collecting needed juvenile Anna's hummingbird songs. The veteran students were grouped with the new students, to help them learn the methods for collecting quality hummingbird song recordings.
